Viking Saga 1: The Cursed Ring App Reviews

I came across this game while searching for a game similar Roads of Rome. So far I like it.

Looks like it would be a great game for ppl with iPad, unfortunately its too tiny to play on my iPhone. Can hardly see anything.

I just spent 5 minutes playing this on my iPhone 6+ and it was excruciating. Im not a graphics snob by any means & trying to see the actual images in this was just awful. I own this game already on PC & thought Id give it a whirl on mobile because it actually is very enjoyable. But whatever it is that was done to transfer Viking Saga over to iOS has not gone well!!!! Id seen crisper graphics in 1993. Very awful.

I paid for this game to avoid ads. The game has not updated to reflect my payment so I am still stuck watching ads. Money has been paid from my account.

Love this type of game, but you can’t purchase it. Every time you try, it says the server can’t be accessed. Says the same thing with the Viking Saga 2, because I tried that one, too. I uninstalled and reinstalled, and nothing helped. Unfortunate, because I enjoy it and would definitely purchase the whole series. Hopefully the problem can eventually be fixed.

I don't buy these games, just let the ads run. But now the ads go clear to the end and then continue with x to close it. They dont even try to fix any bugs in old versions of the game, so movin' on.

Like another review, you try to buy the game, it takes your money, purchase approved, your all set, but what’s this? Server not responding? But, the full game says you didn’t purchase it. Rip off. Buyer beware.

Paid, App Store says I’ve paid, game won’t unlock. Uninstalled, reinstalled, nada. Wish I’d checked the reviews before I let these scammers steal my money. One star because I cannot give zero.

I actually downloaded and paid for this and Viking Saga 2. The game says not purchased. The money did come out of my account for it. I contacted customer support and sent them proof that it was paid. They told me to try to uninstall and reinstall because that usually fixes it. I did that and it didn’t work so I told them it didn’t correct the issue. I waited and waited for the next step. They said they were more busy than usual. So I waited. After over 2 weeks they closed the chat. I tried to contact them again and have been ignored. I realize it is not a lot of money but it does show that the company doesn’t care about the customers or anything other than getting their money for nothing in return. I am very disappointed. I actually did like the game or I would not have spent money on it but I will be sure that I never buy anything else from them and will be sure none of my friends or family will either. I really hate that… 😢

I paid for the app Viking Saga The Cursed Ring several days ago. The app doesn’t recognize that it’s been paid for though Apple does and my card was charged. I made a detailed report to the developer a couple days ago. I uninstalled / reinstalled the app. Problem is unresolved. No response from the vendor. Other poor reviews cite this problem. I hope complaining here will spur the developer to rectify the problem. What’s the game like? Hard to give a fair review when you’re ticked. I liked the initial levels enough to pay for it.

Found the 3rd one first so I bought it because it’s a great game and so challenging! So today I went to the App Store to purchase the others but none of them will play, when you open the app it comes up with the developer name then just closes out and you can’t play so I went to go play the 3rd one that I paid for and that won’t open either! What’s going on guys? Other than the fact I can’t play them I can say at least the 3rd one is awesome (of what I actually played before it went down)

Had given this five stars, because I’ve owned it for awhile and enjoyed playing it a few times. Suddenly, it’s become glitchy and almost unplayable. Had to revise my rating to reflect how well it works now.

It is a fun game, but a few of the levels seem to have too short time limits set.

Started with version 2 of this game, just now bought this 1st version. It’s fun! So hard to find these type of old school time management games - grateful to the developer for making them. Like this 1st version better - so far no stupid fires that won’t stay out or spiders to contend with! Would buy more from this developer.

The game itself and the others in the series are a solid 5. Good story, adjustable challenge levels, reasonable time frames for resources unlike other games. I’ve played several times and now the developer is making me pay to play all over again. The AppStore still has it as one of my previously purchased apps and yet it wants me to pay again.

Again, this poor excuse of a company reissued a game instead of updating the original, so that those of us who already paid for the game have to pay for it again! This company should be banned from selling ANY apps in the App Store! Update: Only after numerous complaints, the company finally provided me the codes to play the games I already paid for. The game itself I would rate a 5, but because the company's behavior only rates a 1, I will give the game a 3 overall.

Fun game. Most required action is self explanatory. Graphics are ok, simple but effective. Appreciate the different difficulty levels, since I'm not a hard gamer and easily frustrated by overly hard games.

Not cool making people pay again after the new update. Dishonest and underhanded tactic.

Played this on my computer and now on my phone. Fun way to pass the time!!!!

Can’t play any of their games anymore - they’re not updated for newer OS! You actually cannot even open the app.

The graphics are horrible. You can't read anything, and sometimes the app will load zoomed in so far you can't see anything but a blue screen. Other times, everything is so tiny you can't click on anything. Not worth the download.
